Meena Krishnan, President and CEO

About Us

A strong believer in applying innovation at all levels, Meena is passionate about making a difference to Inoventures’ diverse customer-base. With 30 years of professional experience, Meena has delivered strategic solutions in the government, commercial and international markets. Realizing that change is the only constant, she believes in improving every aspect of performance with innovative methodologies to provide highest customer satisfaction. That is the single most differentiator at Inoventures.

 

Prior to serving the government contracting world, Meena was part of the Senior Management team at Verizon Business Research, supervising the development and implementation of econometric, forecasting and market segmentation models for Verizon Wireless, VISA, and various other business units, resulting in multi-million dollar portfolio assets and cost savings.

 

Meena strongly believes in helping the community. As the Chairman of a non-profit 501 (c) (3) Foundation called Save a Child Now, Meena works to effect the community positively. The foundation has won many national awards and has launched well-needed initiatives such as Project Touch, assisting close to 400 financially disadvantaged autistic children and young women in the US and around the Globe.

 

Meena is a Wharton Business School alumnus (WAM'13); she graduated Summa cum Laude with M.S. in Systems Engineering from George Mason University; She holds the Dean’s gold medal for graduating at the top of the class in M.S. Econometrics with Ph.D. Research Scholar experience in Econometrics. She also holds a B.S. in Mathematics.

 

Meena was honored as the 2020 Enterprising Women Leader, 2019 HUBZone Business Owner of the Year, 2018 Women In Technology Leader, 2017 Minority Business Leader of the Year by Washington Business Journal and Inc 500 2016 Top 10 Women Business Leaders in the USA . She has been wriiten about in a book called The Founders by Michael Caldwell (available in Amazon) where in she shares her crucible story that lead to entreprenurship. 

 

Meena loves running, reading books, watching football and movies with her two daughters and husband. 

Karen Lou Dickey, Head of Corporate Finance

Karen brings more than 30 years of experience in accounting and finance, primarily for the federal government contracting industry, with expertise in corporate accounting, financial reporting, governance, and M&A activity. 

 

Karen has held various financial and management positions with government contractors, of all sizes, in the D.C. Metropolitan area.  She spent 17 years with Hadron, Inc. (later Analex and QinetiQ) climbing the corporate ladder from Accounting Clerk to Vice-President, Corporate Secretary. Karen also held key finance positions with Professional & Scientific Associates, Inc. (PSA), Serco, DRS, IDL Solutions, Inc. (a CACI company), and Primescape Solutions.

 

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Marymount University as well as an MBA from Virginia Tech.  Karen is also a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

 

Karen has run ten Marathons (26.2m) over the years. She is a great swimmer and completed the 4.4 mile Chesapeake Bay Swim in June of 2016.  Karen is also a die-hard sports fan and an avid dog lover. She currently has 5 rescue dogs and is affiliated with numerous canine rescue leagues in the area.

Kyle Holmquist, Director of Operations

 

Kyle brings excellent experience leading teams delivering high quality services to clients in the Federal government, providing operations leadership in both large and small businesses, and aligning corporate strategies to anticipate, shape, and support client initiatives. An experienced manager focused on providing solutions that efficiently address clients’ needs, he has led information technology (IT), public health, and eLearning contracts supporting agencies across the Federal government, including Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Veterans Health Administration (VHA).  Kyle brings nearly 20 years of experience leading cross-functional teams delivering technology and management consulting, public health consulting, eLearning solutions, IT infrastructure operations, information security, and software development for these agencies and others.

 

Prior to joining the private sector, Kyle completed a distinguished Air Force career as an Operations Research Analyst and Program Manager, holding roles providing electronic warfare database development and analysis, operational and logistics simulations and analysis, emergency operations exercise support, workforce modeling and simulation, and satellite communications program management. He retired as a Major from the Air Force.

 

Kyle holds a Master of Science degree in Operations Research from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences from Clemson University. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification. 

 

An avid sports fan, Kyle enjoys spending time watching and attending college sporting events with his wife and two sons and friends. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Paula recently retired from the United States Department of Transportation as a senior executive Chief Information Officer and Associate Administrator for Administration. She has over 30 years of technical and management experience, including working for the Executive Office of the President.

 

Paula was a Federal 100 award winner for managing and influencing government systems, Who's Who in American Women, and received the Bronze Medal and Silver Medal for Leadership (three times). Paula has extensive experience leading the Homeland Security & Civilian Sectors for small and midsize government contractors, exceeding customer satisfaction, delivering highly sophisticated information technology solutions, and growing the civilian business.

 

Paula has a Master of Science degree in Public Administration, from the American University and a Bachelor of Art degree in Technology Management from the University of Maryland. She is a certified executive career coach.

 

Paula was recognized (and published as a “type of boss I want”) by Patricia P. Driscoll and Celia Straus for the book titled Hidden Battles on Unseen Fronts Stories of American Soldiers with Traumatic Brain Injury and PTSD. Paula was interviewed (and published as a leader who gets results) by Jan Austin for the book titled What No One Ever Tells You About….Leading for Results….Best Practices from 101 Real-World Leaders.

Al Blumenthal, Senior Corporate Advisor

With over 30 years of executive management and consulting experience, Al has an established reputation and performance record as a successful and effective senior level Information Technology (IT) executive and consultant.

 

In the course of his career Al has been responsible for all aspects of active management and oversight of government information technology contracts, from inception through close-out. Contracts under Al's direction have ranged in size from $1M to $175M and have had an aggregated funded value in excess of $500M.

 

Al has worked with many Government Departments and Agencies and is thoroughly experienced in managing, establishing and maintaining compliance with all relevant federal government contracting regulations and reporting requirements.

 

Al has a B.A., in Public Administration from the San Francisco State University· and Graduate Coursework from University of California.  

 

Al holds an Active Top Secret clearance through DISCO.
